Applications for new members to join the J&B Hive are now open. The Hive Joburg is a space for creative entrepreneurs located in the heart of Johannesburg CBD. The establishment is a partnership between the J&B Whisky Brand and a network of entrepreneurs called Independents United. Since the hubs inception in 2015, The Hive has enabled collaboration, skills and knowledge sharing and the execution of creative ideas within the member community by providing adequate support and resources.
Collaboration is the core success of the Hive. Members of the Hive work across what has been dubbed as Culture and Socialising spheres. These could be industries ranging from digital innovation, design, fashion, film, music, publishing, food and marketing. The hubs strong affiliation with corporate partners has allowed for a change in the way creative entrepreneurs are supported.
Applications are open from 04th January to 21st January 2018. All shortlisted applicants will then be invited to a fully immersive on-boarding week designed to set you and your business up for success. The week will include pitch training, financial planning, PR & marketing skills and a range of other master-classes & workshops from entrepreneurs who are already driving change in their field.
You’ll also get to meet existing entrepreneurs within the community. A final selection of entrepreneurs will be invited to pitch to a panel to outline how they would like the J&B Hive to support them.
