Hosted by Kaya Biz\u2019s Gugulethu Mfuphi,<\/strong>\u00a0i<strong>t features panel discussions, masterclasses, and a keynote by Ludwick Marishane, the inventor of Dry Bath. Attendees have a chance to win a share of R170 000 in funding by pitching their business ideas.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The partnership with Kaya FM highlights a commitment to supporting businesses and economic participants operating within the township economy as they play a pivotal role in job creation and community upliftment. Among the challenges township entrepreneurs face are poor infrastructure, non-compliance, and a lack of access to funding. Many are also unaware of the funding opportunities available to them and neglect essential business formalities. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Standard bank is committed to driving growth for local markets and is fully aware that economic success is anchored on the sustainability of small businesses, many of which are located in the Township sector. The bank also acknowledges that the maturation of its banking practice lies in the growth and development of its banking clients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Standard Bank has deemed it necessary to invest in initiatives such as the eKasinomics Summit which would equip entrepreneurs with the knowledge on how to overcome the plethora of challenges.
